The shrek summer holiday workshop
The Rhythm and Body Performing Arts School will be holding the ‘Shrek Summer Holiday Workshop’ for one week only from Monday 19th August to Friday 23rd August 2013. The workshop will be held at St Michael’s Church Hall, Champion Road, Sydenham, London, SE26 4HH every day from 9am-4pm and welcomes all children aged 7-11, no experience necessary.
This one week workshop has been set up to provide children of all abilities the opportunity to; experience dance, drama and singing, make new friends and have fun during their summer holiday.
During this fun packed week students will work alongside their peers and experienced performing arts teachers to create a unique version of Shrek the Musical. The first day of the workshop will provide exciting activities so that everyone can get to know each other. Over the next few days children will be learning dance routines, singing songs and rehearsing drama scenes all in preparation for Friday’s performance. We invite all friends and family to watch the show for free in the Church at 7pm. We also offer parents/carers access to our blog to find out about their child's day.
Will my child need a packed lunch?
All children will be required to bring a packed lunch and drink every day. Additional drinks and snacks will be provided by the workshop.
How much will it cost?
The cost of the week is £115 per student. We offer a sibling discount of £5 per child.
